You Have the Power to Make a Difference
Our goals are ambitious at Boys & Girls Clubs of Newark, and we know we cannot achieve them alone. We need and welcome the support of our community and caring people like you. Together, we can have a lasting impact on the lives of the children who need us most.
There are several ways you can get involved and make a difference:
Volunteer at a Clubhouse or School Unit
Volunteers are essential to our youth development programming and are highly valued in our Clubs and at our School Units. We are always looking for positive role models who can offer their time, energy and talent to enrich the lives of our youth. There are many ways to contribute based on your schedule and areas of interest.
Corporate Group Volunteering
Our Clubs welcome groups of volunteers from our corporate supporters and new community partners. We offer many opportunities for groups to get involved:
- Corporate groups can participate in one-day beautification projects such as gardening, organizing and cleaning.
- Volunteer groups can participate in existing Club activities such as getting involved in homework help, engaging in arts & crafts projects and leading fun activities.
- We also encourage corporate groups of volunteers to speak to our teens about their careers and the paths that led them to where they are today.
